We’re very excited to announce that Mayan Technologies celebrated its 8th anniversary!
It was a special year for our team as we commemorated not only another milestone, but also all that we have accomplished in partnership with employees, customers, partners, and friends. We’ve come a long way over the years, so we were so happy to celebrate this together with YOU!
Thank you to all who contributed and participated in our month-long Mayanniversary celebrations, showing that even though we may all be working remotely, we are proud to be part of the amazing Mayan Techs family.
We believe everyone’s favorite event was the contest to win this year’s Mayan Noble title, which was full of exciting games and activities where there could only be 1 winner, however this year we were surprised to see our past year winners tie and fight till the death at our “Battle of the Nobles” tiebreaker games. It was a never before seen turn of events! But in the end, Viviana Vega was able to keep the coveted title for one more year, while Dora Chavarria earned the second place.
The winners received many company perks, including a cash prize, incredible promotional items, and a trophy that would make an excellent addition to their already growing trophy case.
The other event everyone was excited about was the Team Gathering at La Torrada, for the local employees living in Monterrey, but never forgetting our non-local team members, who received a yummy Uber Eats dinner voucher! We were happy to celebrate our Mayanniersary together, from wherever we were, as a team.
So thank you once again, to everyone who competed in the games, posted photos with our commemorative T-shirts, for the likes and shares on social media, and for continuing to fill this year with success, collaboration, and company spirit!
Over the last years, we’ve employed an amazing staff, all of whom had the special skill set it takes to make the company what it is today, as have our wonderful clients who come from a range of disciplines, backgrounds, and sectors. We consider our clients to be part of the Mayan Techs family, and in fact, some of our clients have been with us since the very beginning.
We continuously find new ways to solve our client’s toughest challenges at Mayan Technologies. To bring them added value. It is a quality that has marked our growth and evolution as a company for 8 years. And it will continue to carry us forward, in partnership with our clients, to positively impact the lives of people all over the world.
It’s no secret that the COVID-19 pandemic has been especially hard on small businesses. That’s why back when all this started, we vowed to support our clients in any way we could. And we have fulfilled this vow by being flexible, easy to reach, and proactive.
Our company has been especially fortunate during the pandemic as we’ve grown quite a bit. We’ve added many new clients from various industries and have many exciting leads for future partnerships.
As our team grows, so does our knowledge and expertise. We regularly hold each other accountable for staying up to date on all the latest trends in our industry.
Even in a time of social distancing, we’ve still made it a point to stay active in our local communities. Our team members proudly came together to give back to our community and make a difference in the world we live in today. This month we shed light on the importance of organ donation and the impact of becoming a donor. We are teamed up with Children’s Health, an organization with the sole purpose of improving children’s health and well-being and donated 8% of our proceeds to help them continue their work in pediatric care.
And we keep going. We continue to innovate. We continue to explore new technologies and services. We continue to acquire and grow.
A lot has changed over the years, but even as we have grown, some pillars have remained and have become part of our success. Our core values (Professionalism, Transparency, Adaptability, Accountability and Reliability) and goal of being a trusted partner for solving the most strategic and complex tasks are guiding Mayan Technology’s path and we will remain firmly committed to these going forward.
