As we step into the New Year, we want to take a moment to look back at the heartwarming success of our 3rd Annual Holiday Toy Drive. While the festive season has passed, the spirit of giving and the joy it brought lingers in our hearts. Each year, we set out on a mission to sprinkle a little holiday magic across the halls of Children’s Health℠, ensuring that children and families facing medical challenges feel the warmth and joy of the season. This tradition has grown into a defining aspect of our company's ethos, symbolizing our commitment to community and compassion.

The Power of Community and Giving

The recent holiday season reminded us of the incredible achievements we can accomplish when we unite for a noble cause. This year, the spirit of giving was exceptionally tangible. Individuals, local businesses, and our dedicated team members came together in a collective effort to make a significant difference in the lives of many. The impact of this collective spirit was both profound and far-reaching.

This Year’s Impact

We are excited to share the significant impact of this year's Holiday Toy Drive:

49 local businesses joined hands with us, hosting collection boxes.

52 boxes were filled to the top, reflecting the community's generosity.

• An impressive 2,200+ toys were donated, far exceeding last year's count.

• Over 6 weeks, the community dedicated their time and resources to gather donations.

A Day of Giving: The Delivery Event

December 22nd stood out in our calendar as a milestone, marking the conclusion of our 3rd Annual Holiday Toy Drive. This day was about more than just delivering toys; it was about delivering hope, joy, and a strong sense of community. Our team, alongside top supporters from Club Pilates, Infinity Solar USA, and Virtus Barber and Co., undertook the important task of delivering our collection of toys to Children’s Medical Center Dallas.

The logistics of the day involved a 10 ft U-Haul, loaded with the collective goodwill of our supporters. Each toy carried with it a promise of joy and a testament to the generosity of our community.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the organized and welcoming staff from Children's Health, including the dedicated Child Life team. Their professionalism made the transition of toys into their new temporary home smooth and meaningful.

Acknowledgments and Looking Forward

The innovative and heartfelt contributions from the community were the driving force behind this year's triumph. We extend our deepest appreciation to everyone involved. Their generosity has not only made a profound difference but also fueled our motivation to continue this tradition.

A special note of gratitude goes to the remarkable staff at Children’s Health for their tireless work and unwavering support throughout this initiative. Their dedication to nurturing the well-being and happiness of children serves as inspiration for us all.

Reflecting on three years of growing success, we are filled with hope and excitement for the future. We eagerly anticipate the continued expansion of this tradition of giving, bolstered by even greater community participation.

As we move forward, we do so with gratitude and our sights set on future opportunities to make a meaningful difference. Stay tuned for how you can contribute to next year's drive. Together, let's keep the spirit of giving alive throughout the year.

From everyone at Mayan Technologies, we thank you for your unwavering support. May the New Year bring you as much joy and generosity as you have helped to spread to others.
