Wow, What a Year!
It's hard to believe that 2022 is over, but we've got a lot to be thankful for. We continue to work with our amazing clients, partners, and incredible team members. As we wrapped 2022, we thought to share some of the years highlights:
We started this year off with a bang! In January, we were invited to appear on The Jeff Crilley Show. The show features entrepreneurs and a variety of different topics in today's business climate. As Jeff said himself: "Mayan Technologies is re-inventing the business in this industry." It was an excellent opportunity to share our mission, values, and services with a national audience. One of our strongest sales months to date, we were able to implement some incredible marketing strategies and sales initiatives that helped our company generate and acquire a bigger market share. In addition to this, we implemented some incredible commission and bonus plans for our team which propelled our growth to an even higher level.
We celebrated Women's History Month in March, on behalf of this important cultural event at Mayan Technologies. Women in our company were honored and recognized for their efforts and support. We invited all our employees to participate in a significant social media campaign to create awareness and highlight the importance of women's contributions throughout history.
We had a perfect day to play golf at the beginning of May! Mayan Technologies participated as a sponsor in the 25th Annual Golf Classic by the McKinney Chamber of Commerce. It was a great event; we enjoyed meeting new people and catching up with old friends. The Chamber's Golf Classic is an annual event that brings together business leaders from all over North Texas to enjoy a fun day of golfing and networking.
As we celebrated our 8th anniversary, this year we decided to present Children's Health℠ with an 8% donation of our proceeds or our anniversary month. This as part of our Open-Heart Initiative - Technology with Purpose campaign. We are incredibly grateful to our committed clients and all of our team members, for their remarkable work; thanks to you, we achieved one of our highest sales months.
Our company is built on the values of integrity, passion, and commitment to our client's success. As a team, we are constantly striving to better our customer experience. Being recognized as an Epicor Service Partner was one of our most significant achievements this year. This recognition means that our company has met the criteria set forth by Epicor and is now recognized as a trusted service provider in the industry. We are excited about this opportunity and look forward to growing together with Epicor!
As fall rolled around, Mayan Technologies and our Managing Partner, Sergio Prieto, were recognized by The Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as one of Telemundo's Local Hispanic Business Leaders of the year at their 12th Hispanic Business Salute. The event honors local Hispanic business leaders who have made significant contributions to the community. We are very proud to be part of this important recognition and were honored to be included in this group of outstanding individuals and companies.
We were so grateful to have been involved as a sponsor at the Children's Health℠ signature Play Yellow event, Swing for Miracles. We had a blast at this signature event, which focused on helping raise funds for the expansion of the Children's Medical Center Campus located in Plano, Texas. We were inspired by the passion and dedication of everyone involved in this event; seeing so many people come together to support such an important cause was awesome! Supporting our communities helps us grow as a company and reinforces our commitment to social entrepreneurship under our Open Heart initiative.
We were excited to host our first Epicor Users Group! The EUG allows us to have a forum for discussing common issues and learning from each other. We want to thank everyone who attended the event. We enjoyed sharing our experiences and perspectives with everyone, as well as learning from your experiences. It was great talking about common challenges, best practices, and even some of the new features in the latest versions of the product. See you next year EUG!
The holidays are all about joy, love, and giving back. This year, we held our 2nd annual toy drive benefiting Children’s Medical Center Dallas to make the holidays magical for all children. With the help of our partners, clients and local businesses we were able to deliver over 1,000 new toys this year. We want to express our appreciation to everyone who joined us and supported our toy drive this year!
We are proud to say that we did all this while staying true to our core values: making sure that we respect our customers, provide them with excellent service, give back to our community and continue to grow and expand our team and service offerings.
